I'm hesitant to promote this until we've seen some gameplay footage or get a demo ourselves. When is that possible?

It will most likely be going live on TARDIS day but I'll double check with the developers.

We've been working closely with them to create an experience that is easily used in arcades.

The full-game is a narrative driven experience so the arcade mode is gonna be quite a bit different! I'll share more very soon. :)

Hey there! Here’s a rundown of how this title will play out -

A short puzzle experience in the TARDIS, a Dalek rail-shooter and a suspense experience with the Weeping Angels.

Basically the edited, best bits/highlights from the longer game.

HunterLaneSBVR Will this be better/longer (more than 10 minutes) than the “arcade version” of Paranormal Activity? I’m worried that it might be a similar situation where it is a clunky demo and leave the customer disappointed.

@HunterLaneSBVR - just got an email from Maze Theory saying they’ve released the game code to SBVR. Any update on when it will be released to the arcades?

Fyi Viveport arcade, synthesis VR and ctrl v all gained early access to this in their arcades days ago. Why are we the only platform that still doesn’t have it? Is CDS what’s holding us up yet again or is it something else. Some explanation beyond “we’re working on it” is warranted at this point.

Hey Eric! It’s live now and per the Maze Theory team, codes were given to platforms early but it was making the title live early was not something that was discussed at all.

Once we found out other platforms had done this, we immediately contacted the Maze Theory team and negotiated an official early release for our customers!

Also, they originally tried to onboard with an improper EULA that forbade commercial use so we had to assist them with this as well before it was put live.

This is awesome. I’m assuming that while we can test it, it is not allowed to be used by the public as per our agreements? I’m assuming we can download it but just keep it inactive during operating hours for the public.

Are we allowed to have any testers help test it out?

OVPowerPlay I haven’t really been following this much, but it looks to me the reason why it wasn’t on springboard earlier is because they didn’t want to restrict the arcade operators from offering to customers… So now that’s it available on the platform it should be good to go for use with the public
