Virtual reality action title Ninja Legends is coming to the SpringboardVR marketplace, and best of all, it's going to be free until the end of the year!

This game has amazing reviews on Steam and the Quest store currently and it's easy to see why.

For anyone who used to go to arcades back in the day, it reminds me of an old arcade title called Mazan: Flash of the Blade...but way cooler of course.

It's easy to pick up but it's definitely challenging. You can pick from 6 different weapons and 4 different powers, all of which are a blast and it's fun to try different combinations.

Kudos to the developers at Coinflip for creating an arcade version of the title and here's a highlight of those changes:

All weapons, levels, abilities, secrets, and modes unlocked

Each time the game is launched the player chooses the following options:

Left or right handed

Blood and gore or not

Play or skip the tutorial

And the following options are defaulted to on:

Snap turning More obvious bounds - if the area is defined as a boundary and not standing/sitting only then an outline of the boundaries appears in-world on the floor.

The last one is good because you can definitely qualify this one as a high-activity title.

Don't think they made a decision on this quite but you can bet we'll be advocating for a very competitive price!

These devs are awesome and definitely have arcades in mind. :slight_smile:

Good to hear. As fun as GORN was, it's price was always just too much and I'm always looking for more great melee things and since we're not looking to get Blades & Sorcery, this one (and also soon Until You Fall) should scratch that itch.

I just played it for about 40 minutes and I really dig it. It's like a more violent Fruit Ninja. I like that it has the story levels, endless, and the challenge mode. Also, the secrets section is nice to spice things up for goofy gameplay. I really hope that my customers like it and are able to see the enemy attacks to block them. What exactly changes with the different difficulties? Enemy health, player health, number of enemies at once, how fast the enemies attack, or other factors?

There are a lot of things changing between difficulties:

enemy health player health enemy speed number enemies that will attack at the same time projectile speed and frequency slow motion grants for good slices, blocks, kills enemy behaviors (dodging, blocking, spinning) appear and increase in frequency at higher difficulties on novice you can block any projectile instead of needing to reflect the harder ones

Just so others can have this info too!

Anyone experiencing any crashes with this game? Some reason a players station just crashed at the end of a level…his center was off and was at the “Stage Clear” screen but could do nothing else to progress. Thanks.

GGVR Nope, no crashes for me. I still get crashes in Raw Data though. I think the crashes I got in Pistol Whip have stopped, maybe. But nope, never had any issues with Ninja Legends.
