Anyone out there know how to force games to full screen? Particularly Slightly Heroes and Nature Treks.

Alt + enter ought to do it
If it's a Steam game you can use launch options: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=1040-JWMT-2947 (Look for "-fullscreen"). Not all games respect the launch option though, such as Google Earth.
