Asymmetrical Gameplay [Poll]

Hey everyone,

Hope you all had a great weekend! I had a quick question and I'd love to hear your opinions! We recently chatted with the devs about their title Panoptic. Here's the Steam link so you can check it out -

This title is a 1v1 game with asymmetrical gameplay, meaning one person is in VR, the other is using a game pad or keyboard and mouse to play with the VR user. It's a bit different style of game but it's SUPER fun and pretty intense!

Do you all feel this would be a good addition to your arcade or would you be unable to support it?

I wanted to clarify the idea for social use is great the graphics and game itself not so much. Change the experience and I would love to do affect the person in VR with a keyboard idea pummel your friends with surprises or obstetricals they have to overcome sure

I watched game play on it so this is a personal view. It has 5 colors max to the whole game. It seem very 2 dimensional. I think it will be a try it for 5 min never play it again. I would prefer to offer content that brings people back to play more.

This looks awesome, would love to try it in our arcade! For us the ideal would be a way for the desktop player to be on a tablet. Our arcade is set up with tables and chairs for three guests/audience outside of each bay, so having a tablet at the table for someone to control while the other two watch and the VR player plays sounds very cool.

I played this a couple years ago on my personal VR PC with some friends and it was really cool. My main concern is just making it clear in the launcher that it's a "multiplayer" game that's for the people out of the headset as well. Same issue I run into with DoodleVR and the PC vs VR mode of GoalkeepVR. People just have no clue what they're getting into when they start DoodleVR or do that specific mode of GoalkeepVR.

But Panoptic was a really cool experience and I'd love for some of my customers to be able to share that kind of experience with their friends. At my arcade, my keyboards at my stations have a mousepad built into the keyboard itself, so I'm not sure how well that would translate to aiming and looking around in Panoptic.
