What's a good Escape Room for an Arcade? As opposed to one that may have gotten great reviews on Steam for home use.

Belko VR isn't bad. Beware that it is for adults (drug and sex references, gore, swearing). It's on a timer that the player is made acutely aware of and is fairly high fidelity.

Is anyone aware of any other multiplayer escape room titles other than 'Tales of Escape' which does up to 6 players - doesn't seem to be any on offer through SpringboardVR that are multiplayer other than this one and I can't find many references online to others. Seems to be a perfect fit for corporate/team building within an arcade setting...

If you're looking for escape room titles, Tales of Escape, EscapeVR: Trapped Above the Clouds and EscapeVR: The Basement are pretty popular! You could also look into VR: Vacate the Room and Escape Bloody Mary as well. Escape Bloody Mary can be a little spooky though. :wink:

Another fun title is I Expect You To Die. Not exactly an escape room, more fast-action puzzle but definitely a good one to try to for those that like escape rooms.

Multiplayer Escape rooms would be great. The only one that I am aware of is Tales of Escape. I asked Springboard about if the extra maps are covered in the commercial arrangement with SpringboardVR and they referred me to the software developers. Software developers aren't answering emails. Frustrating all round...

Hi Romain, Will send them another email and see if I get a response and let you know. How are you getting players in at the moment? When they select the 'invite' button these days it takes them to the SpringboardVR pause menu. I asked this of SpringboardVR as it is obviously a conflict in the button commands between what Springboard and Tales of Escape are using. Springboard referred me to the software developers. Software developers aren't answering.... Cheers...

Hey Andrew,

I went ahead and contacted Tales of Escape regarding this and unfortunately since their title is also non-VR, they don't want to make changes to the title that would effect those players. We'll continue to explore possible fixes with the developer but so far nothing has been fruitful.

Thanks Hunter. Did they (or you) have any solutions on how to get multiple players into a private game. Is there a way we can send and accept Steam Friends invites through Steam while in Springboard? Since the software developers don't seem to be replying to my emails, could you possibly ask whether the extra maps can be included in the SpringboardVR licensing? Also whether they plan on putting 'Escape First' on SpringboardVR? Thanks, Andrew

Hey Andrew,

Unfortunately I don't have a work around currently but I have reached out to them about their new title. I will continue to talk to them to see if there can be some kind of fix for the inviting friends issue and to see about getting Escape First on the platform.

Thanks Hunter. This is a big one for us as groups coming in looking at this game don't want to play in a public game - just with their friends they came in with. Can you also reach out to them to ask about the extra maps in Tales of Escape being made available through SpringBoardVR?

We have Dungeon Escape and it's a fun game and easy to coach players if needed but the image on the TV flickers badly. The image in the headset is fine. Any thoughts?
