So when you say Non-arcade version, what exactly does this entail? No unlimited ammo? No being able to choose any chapter you want? Save points are going to be a problem for customers? Are there still chapters? What is price?

Glad we are getting access to it but not sure of the specifics.

OVPowerPlay basically all of that. no unlimited ammo, on either campaign or horde mode. you can’t choose chapters that im aware of, but you can start new games.

Hi, any update on AS2 Arcade Edition? This game is definitely something to advertise but in it’s current state, I don’t feel comfortable enough recommending it to our patrons.

I just really hope there is some kind of ETA for summer because that’s definitely a missed opportunity for us on what should be a great long awaited sequel. Summer 2024 and Arizona Sunshine II should go hand in hand. Please give this one some effort SBVR.

OVPowerPlay I’ve only been able to test a bit of it, maybe 30 min and if I’m not mistaken, infinite ammo is the only difference.

My biggest request for this title is definitely going to be more horde maps. Like somewhere in the line of at least 5+ maps for horde mode to stand a chance of being future proof. There will be a total of 4 by May 2024 as announced on X but with them just being recycled old maps, it’s hard not to want more out of AS2.

This isn’t about the arcade edition, but is this game too dark in certain parts? Just reminds of the cave areas in AS1, especially for an arcade experience for those sometimes-picky customers. Maybe there’s a fix for this I’m just not aware of.

Again, I just need to emphasize more horde maps pleeease, over time is fine but AS2 will need this to compete with AS1 and After the Fall. Its a great story title, i just hope regular additions to this title are not forgotten so easily. Also i want that corgi dlc lol

The other nice thing other than unlimited ammo for arcade play, was the ability to jump to whatever chapter they wanted to on whatever machine was available without having to play the entire story on each computer. I have a couple VR stations that get more play than others and people would go many chapters in, then when they came back, those stations weren’t available and they would have to use one of the stations in the back. Arcade version was great cause it didn’t matter what chapter they were on they could pick up where they left off.

Well I’m glad it is out finally, tho It doesn’t look like multiplayer/co-op is enabled yet. Hopefully soon.
