DarronMurphy462048 Welcome! Where’s your arcade? Have you found the Facebook VR Arcade groups yet? Lot’s of discussion on that platform.
If you do a little digging you’ll see this is a semi-frequent request - https://community.springboardvr.com/d/654-request-for-easy-changing-of-what-games-are-available
Most of us “hack” around it by using the age limits. For my arcade, I use Age 1 as the “Only kiddie titles”, Age 2 as the “Normal Titles that everyone enjoys”, Age 3 is the “Hmmm, really for 16+ has blood and guts/violence” … then Age 4 is my “Experimental titles I’m researching” ….
Then in the Monitor I can easily change each station to that Age level and the Launcher menu changes on the fly. It’s cumulative, so if I’ve selected Age 3, it also includes the titles in Age 1 and Age 2. This solves the challenge of a parent coming in and saying, “I don’t want my child to play any violent games” …. I change the Age to 2 and even if the session has already started the Launcher removes those items immediately.
What we’d like to see from SpringBoard, (ahhhemmm @HunterLaneSBVR ) is the ability to have “Game Profiles” or some mechanism that would allow titles to be as easily changed as it is with the age limits (but with more flexibility). Right now, assigning titles per station, and adding stations to “experiences” doesn’t give that flexibility.
For example, I suggested this a year ago -> https://features.springboardvr.com/feature-requests/p/reorder-titles-in-the-stations.
Or this -> https://features.springboardvr.com/feature-requests/p/launcher-filter .. where I even mocked up what I thought it should look like.
I REALLY REALLY REALLY wish something would be done about this.
