Blastworld, from Hip Fire Games, is a Nerf-inspired family-friendly foam shooter where you can climb any surface and play with up to 8 players at once. Blastworld uses a unique locomotion system that allows for very fluid movement in VR and balanced matches between immersive and comfort mode players. Compete for the high score with the skill-based ranking and matchmaking system!
The unique verticality in the gameplay is thanks to the ability to climb any surface in the game. Fortnite has great verticality with building, Blastworld does it with climbing.
Here’s a quick quote from the Hip Fire time regarding their plans and goals for Blastworld!
"In the future it’s not all PvP though, you can expect PvE and locomotion based Sports, as well. We will also be updating the game with content and campaigns regularly.
Our long term vision is to start hosting Blastworld League with local VR Arcades, where teams are able to qualify and progress in a global Tournament in events that takes place about once per month in Arcades that participate in the League."
