Hey everyone Hunter, with a content highlight we’ve been waiting to give ever since we saw the initial release news about this title.
Touring Karts is going to be live Monday, Oct. 28th and this is one you definitely don’t want to miss.
After experiencing VR, people naturally staring thinking and asking, “What else would be awesome in virtual reality?”
An answer that comes up quite a bit in these conversations is Mario Kart.
Touring Karts from Ivanovich Games definitely fits the bill and is a super fun and unique racing experience.
The arcade mode is done extremely well and overall, you can tell Touring Karts is a title made with arcades in mind.
The game supports many different input methods like standard VR controllers, gamepads, wheels, and even motion simulators. Let us know if you need more information on this and we can send it your way.
Ivanovich Games has also reached an agreement with nextlevelracing.com to offer a 10% discount and free shipping to all customers who use the code discount "TK-10".
This is the company that manufactures the simulator that appears in many of their videos and Nextlevelracing simulators are very economical and fit perfectly with Touring Karts.
Touring Karts also has different visual modes for those that maybe can’t do the full first-person immersion.

I experienced Touring Karts seated, using standard Vive controllers, with full first-person immersion.
While standard Vive controllers are not the recommended input, I didn’t have too much trouble getting used to it or using them.
I also had very little issues with the first-person full immersion.
Now Touring Karts is best experienced as a seated, standalone experience with the support of motion simulators but is not required.
The maps are fun and a lot of them have really fun and unique environmental hazards.
The powerups might be the most fun part of the game due to the combining mechanic. Hold onto a powerup and mix it with a new one to create some super fun powerups to help you win the race.
My favorite combinations so far are the Banana Rocket Launcher and the Giant Chicken you can throw to smash your opponents.
For anyone who’s ever played Mario Kart, Touring Karts feels very natural and overall it’s an amazing VR experience. (I haven’t come across a Rainbow Road track yet though but I think as far as VR goes, that might be for the best!)
We’re super excited for Touring Karts to be on the platform and as always check out our channel for more awesome videos!
