Hey Everyone,
Arizona Sunshine is definitely getting slower on the load up since the last update, it's always been that way. To put it into perspective I currently have 37 games in one of my Steam Common Folders which includes Arizona Sunshine Arcade, there are 44,500 files roughly in that folder, 25,000 of those files are Arizona Sunshine, it is a bloated behemoth and is only getting more so as they add more onto it unfortunately which is adding to these load times.
In regards to the controllers this is an issue they're apparently fixing and they've recommended if you're having controller issues (Mostly reported as clicking right trigger to fire left gun and vice versa) you should roll back the update, you can do this by going into Steam, right click on Arizona Sunshine Arcade, click Properties and go to the Beta tab, then from the drop down menu select the most recent option which I believe is 4th July 2019 until they've got a fix for it. This will remove the DLC content though unfortunately. There have been other issues reported by Operators for Arizona Sunshine since the update and hopefully they'll get them all fixed in the update. We have not received any timeline from them for this update unfortunately.
Space Pirate Trainer does load a few seconds faster directly through Steam but I'm only noticing a matter of about 2 or 3 seconds difference but I'll mention it to the team to see if there is something we can do to streamline it more.
Smashbox I'm unware of any issues currently and same with Cowbots and Aliens but I'll try and do some testing when I can and let you know if I find anything.
Often when it comes to hands not appearing I've found personally it is customers opening up the pause menu overlay whilst a title is loading, essentially the title goes to look for controllers to allocate but doesn't find any as they're in use in the overlay. This isn't necessarily what is happening but it's the first thing that comes to mind and is something to look for in these situations. Usually advising them to launch again fixes this.
In regards to what sounds like SpringboardVR crashes, if this is occurring please send through a ticket to support@springboardvr.com so that we can get more information, if you can let us know approximately when this occurred and which stations we can try to find out why this is happening for you as fast as possible.
