PatrickRinaudo397065 Hey Patrick. Hear you loud and clear that “the easier and more fluid, the better.”
There are many times we chat with developers and tell them that the way multiplayer is set up is just too difficult for the standard arcade customer.
One example is the folks at Snapshot VR that we’re speaking with. Along with a somewhat complicated setup, you need an actual login as well.
We’re chatting with their team about how to simplify this for arcades and make it an easier process. The game itself is super fun but as you said, if it’s too difficult to set up, it’s gonna be hard to use at an arcade.
Also, if you look at titles like Sweet Escape, they’ve built in an operator panel to allow you to set up both the game and the multiplayer aspect easily.
We always give operators information and resources to improve their title and we’re excited to continue to helping game developers improve their content for arcade use.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on what titles you think would do better in arcades in the multiplayer was easier setup and use for arcades!
