Progress through the house where each room is a different game. Take turns in VR as Hal facing off against the Takelings controlled by up to 8 couch players using their smartphones and/or joysticks.

Hey @HunterLaneSBVR will this game work with the steam controller or only with a smartphone? I tried playing it but the steam controller would only allow the takeling to jump. I couldn't actually run anywhere. I saw on Steam someone was having this problem and solved it by launching the game with the steam controller. This is not an option for us though since we have to launch through the SpringboardVR launcher. Thanks,

Hey Jesse,

I chatted with the dev and he said this -

"We have it set up so by default we use Steam Input. Out of the box it should work with the Steam Controller, but if they choose to opt in to the "Enable up to 8 joysticks", that's when it would break I believe. They can always switch it back on/off."

Hey Hunter,

Thanks for checking with the Dev. Unfortunately, "out of the box", the game is not working with the steam controller. All I can do is jump and access the menu. I can't actually run around. I was able to get it working on my phone but that's not an ideal fix in an arcade (much better to hand a customer a controller than asking them to download an app on their phone). Can you check with the developer again and see if there's a fix?

Is there a trick for getting this to work on the phone? Tried to connect yesterday but did not work. Had to download two different apps too. One called test pilot and the other was the Takelings Beta App…does this sound right?
