Computer wall shelf

Hey all,

I've been looking at a variety of different options to wall mount our computer to. My 2 concerns are:

Safely mounting the computer where it won't tip over or slide off the shelf. Some modicum of anti-theft measure.

Our computers weigh about 22-24 pounds. There are several floating wall shelves that will hold the weight and work but I was hoping to have a small lip on it like some of the picture ledges. In the end it may be cheaper/easier to build some ourselves but I was wonder what some of you all do?

Cable Locks are one option for anti-theft.

I've been looking at those at something as simple as a few zip ties. Doesn't need to be 100% just enough to discourage them.

Good idea here. I looked at those and unfortunately we have our interior blinged up with RGB so we want to show off the side of the case to people. Looking at all the options I have seen over the last couple of days, I think we are just going to get a wall flush mount and juryrig a lip on it so it can't fall out and be secured a bit with some piano wire to the back wall.

Instead of using the included strap, I bolted the bottom of the PC to one of the bottom slots and attached a TV child safety cable to the top of the PC to the wall ( hidden from view). I discarded the sliding top piece.
