Maintenance time between bookings

Hey all,

So we are using Checkfront to book and process payments through. I was wondering if anyone else is using Checkfront for this purpose as I'm trying to find the best way to create our bookings that would include a 5-10 minute maintenance time after each booking.

Under Checkfront we have the ability to make our "one hour station rental" 60 minutes and add 5 minutes to the booking times but in doing so, customers can't chose to book 2 hours or 3 hours without having to add to their bookings. So we have to actually have a separate inventory item for "2 hour" and "3 hour" bookings.

If we are at 100% capacity the system works fine but if there is a station that isn't in use for an hour, it kinda muddles up the schedule.

I know SpringboardVR has the ability to set the time limits but I wasn't sure how seamless it is between Checkfront and SpringboardVR? I would be interested in knowing how others do their reservations. 60 minutes? 65? 70 minutes?

I've been on the phone with them and unfortunately they couldn't find us a great solution but more of a work around. Long story short we could have a customer book a station for an hour and have that hour have 5-10 minutes maintenance time. Unfortunately they wouldn't be able to book that same station for two hours unless they added a second hour to the booking. The other option was not much better. So instead of having one option that a person could pick their time, we'd have to have separate options for renting for 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, ect.

The only way we could do what we wanted is we have to keep the booking to be exactly one hour with zero maintenance time which is a bit disappointing. :frowning:
