Have I missed some info? What integration and what payments are the issue?

If there are plans to force us to use some third party booking system, Checkfront or Fareharbor for example, it is a no-go for us.

I have reviewed them both and abandoned the idea because of inflexibility and especially because of the costs.

I have also asked Springboard to give us access to API, but it seems like they don't want to do that. Reason could be that they'll get some royalties if they could force us to use other systems rather than developing our own.

One thing is for sure: If we will be forced to use third party booking system, we will find a new solution to run our arcade.

No offense, but don't mess this up. You already made a quite stupid decision and started a dangerous path by deciding what kind of content is suitable to offer through SBVR. (Removing Gorn). You forgot that it is not SBVR whose brand is seen by real VR-arcade customers. You are the backend and the less our customers notice that you are around, the better.

Thanks for reaching out. In the future Checkfront and Fareharbor will be optional 3rd party booking systems. We will continue to offer the current SpringboardVR booking system you already have access to.

Thought I would voice an opinion, we are small only 6 headsets but we have access to over 300+ games to offer to our customers that only costs us $180 a month plus licensing fee's. If the price per headset wet up for booking or mix-cast and the fee was forced on us then we would reconsider this. However at this point SBVR has not said anything about extra fee's so it seems that they are only adding better options while keeping up with what they already have going. So far all I have had is quality customer service and improvement in the software yes there were some bugs but they fixed it.

This is again just my opinion on this.

I would agree with everything you said. Customer service is top notch and for the small arcade that i run(7 station) i think its well worth it.

100$ more a month for what mixcast? Better booking that don't confuse everyone that tries to use that sbvr booking widget? I missed something while I was removing the 30 titles pulled last month from my stations.

SpringboardVR charges $30 per month per station, mixcast, the other booking is extra if you want it. I am not sure why there is a conversation about extra charges its $30 per unit plus licensing for the games played each month. If I have missed something that is my mistake but that is all I am seeing on my billing,

It's a conversation about BOOKING system from SBVR and their integration with outside booking systems. They won't upgrade their system with features been requested so many times such as good group booking (for birthday parties), one time use coupons etc. Basically, the answer is: "use it as is or pay more for outside booking systems", which is completely unfair to their customers (including me) that signed-up for their all-in-one system. Shame...

Let's do a poll will you pay more for springboard VR if they update their booking system to be incredible? I can use it as is personally, It has its flaws but I love the fact I have it to use and don't have to pay extra for it.

Mark, why do I need pay more to get a better service that i was promised to have in the future?! Next. I'm repeating myself. I'm already paying for the service!!! That should include Launcher, Booking, Licensing, Analytics. Booking and analytics are shitty! If you think it's good, tell me please a few things:

How are you managing birthday party bookings (if you have those) with optional Party area booking? Tell me please your stations utilization rate? I can go ahead and keep asking questions....

Thank you for the questions I appreciate you asking them, let me try to do the best I can to explain how we do the booking. People have options using SBVR booking to book online in 1 hour + increments only. Party's are simple for us we have 6 stations that you can rent out for 2 hours plus 1/2 of set up and 1/2 tear down for free. No one else can book during that time. Party's must call in or come in to book I put them in the system myself so there are no issues or conflicts.

I hope that answers some of your questions.

So you are thinking that the phone booking it's a good service? No freaking way! I have 4 different party packages, with some extras it comes to 10 variations of the party bookings. It's not simple. I want my clients to call me only with questions about "how to book?".

Also you didn't answer to my second question, Mark, about utilization. Do you need this data? The answer is "yes" for me. Not "how many min been played at some certain station", i need "how busy my stations out of all available time?". Is that so difficult? Analytics - they said, Booking system - they said....

I suppose in the end if SBVR booking is not up to your par you can pay for another service. We use another service for waivers since SBVR does not offer that. You cannot expect $30 per station to do everything perfect and offer all the options you want on top of that for that price while they keep doing other improvements as well.

In the end it sounds like your not happy with the service and that is ok its not for everyone and there are alternatives out there. Choose what you like I am not here to have arguments because you decide to offer so many options for bookings.
