Theblu home edition vs arcade edition

Which version do you plan to use?

Looks like the arcade edition is even simpler than the already very simple home version since it now doesn't require any button clicks at all, which is nice, but on the other hand it takes away control from customers if they only want one experience out of three.

I'm not sure which to go for, and I don't really want to confuse people more by having both. Thoughts?

I went with the home edition. Let the customer choose what they would like. Having 2 versions would be cluttered and I'm assuming with CDS this would be 2 separate installs so waste of hard drive space. I could see some people loving the migration and whale but terrified of the deep dark water so having it auto launch them into it without them knowing what to expect could be jarring. Picking an experience is the same point and click they would use to launch the game so if they can load into it they can pick which mode to do. I did have 1 person with cerebral palsay who couldnt select, but we just clicked the button for him so no big deal.

The full experience is excellent but can't see a way to go back to the menu in the middle of the experience without going back to SpringboardVR and reloading, which is a shame...

Interesting points so far, thanks. I've decided to try the arcade edition first to see how it performs, and since I expect most people who will play this haven't done VR before and may not even be comfortable using the trigger (aka the Fruit Ninja VR audience). Plus I've got Operation Apex for the VR veterans.

We went with the full experience, because we felt not everyone will enjoy the deep or whale encounter some just want the reef its relaxing. I did want to force people to do them all that may change if this becomes played more often.
