Hi there,
We have 8 of these backpacks for our free-roam experiences. Ours are the 1070 version.
Setup can be a hassle, you'll need to plug in a display to it, then install some remote-desktop software like VNC or use Windows RDP to actually manage them. You'll also need one of those headless HDMI dongles to emulate a screen being plugged into the computer to be able to do that.
Battery life is a bit underwhelming, between 50-60mn for each pair of batteries. Since there is two of them, you can hot-swap them during a session. You're going to need at least 3 pair of batteries and a charger per backpack.
As for the durability, well... I can't say yet, we have ours since November and I'd say they got decent use, they have a few scuffs due to customers bumping into each other. The real issue is with the batteries connectors which are a bit flimsy and can bend if you're not super careful with how you plug them into the charging dock.
On the good side, performance is pretty good on our 1070 version, I'd expect lesser performance on the 1060 of course but it'd probably be fine if your aim is to use them for arcade stuff. I'd try one first to see if it holds up to your expectation.
Oh, last thing : the straps are removable... Be sure to wash them often to remove the... unwanted armpit smell. :D I just throw all 8 straps in those baskets you'd normaly use for underwear in the washer with regular laundry detergent. Set it on low spin to avoid excessive noise though.
