Using Ver1 Vive Controllers with HTC Vive Pro System

Does anyone know if the old Vive controllers (v.10 - black) are compatible with the HTC Vive Pro systems and what, if any, differences between the old black ones and the new blue ones? I need to send back a couple of controllers for warranty repairs (keep squeaking every time you use the trigger) and don't want to have to pay $300 for a single controller to keep the system up and running!

Depends if you're using the v2.0 lighthouses or not (the ones which come bundled with the Vive Pro)

The original v1.0 lighthouses are forward compatible, so basically anything will work with them, but the v2.0 lighthouses are not backward compatible.

Thanks Peter. I am using the Ver2.0 lighthouses so that means that I won't be able to use the ver1.0 controllers by what you were saying - bummer!!!
