Just installed and I've just played 56 minutes (without even realising, I was enjoying it that much).
The 'memories' aren't saved for the next player which I think is better than saving progress. Although I got 8/22 memories on Beach in 56 minutes. You would never be able to complete the game in an arcade setting. There are different levels on each activity within each area, so you would have to stick to one activity and go through all the levels in order to get through all content in multiple visits to the arcade. The other downside is if the game, steam, steamvr or the pc crashes, and requires a restart of the game in a session - everything the customer has done is lost...
I completely agree that there should be an option to skip or do the tutorial for the avatar, backpack and opening the vacation areas - this probably takes about 5 minutes which is not fun for repeat business.
It would be great if we were able to have direct dialogue with Content Creators regarding what does and doesn't work. On a call with Michelle from Springboard a few weeks ago I suggested an Amazon type star scoring and comment box for games available on the commercial licensing. If Content Creators also had access to this, they could be able to open up conversations with us directly if they wish on the feedback. We can also help each other on what works and in certain situations, or for particular groups of people in the arcade.
