Hi All,
I wonder if everyone agrees that Springboard would help the VR Community if they managed to get deals with developers to have the big games at launch. I realise it may be seen as a negative to the developers, and maybe they will run it like movie theatre release and downloads (hope not), but would personally agree to pay higher rates for the top titles when they release to be able to get some of the traction from the marketing.
Vacation Simulator came out today and I would have paid to advertise that we had it, and paid more per minute to have it at launch.
I think it worth telling Springboard how much the licensing means to us when it counts. I think big titles in VR will one day have the same impact as movies and AAA games in flat gaming.
I really want Angry Birds too, as this IP appeals to "normal" people which is the bulk of our customers, not gamers.
