Is anyone using laptops to power VR? If so, which GPU card(s) are in the laptops? I ask since I am likely to put VR in another facility and their interest is in portability.
Thanks in advance for your time when responding!

Been using ASUS ROG with 1070 for 1 a year now. Amazing machine, works without issues with Vive BE, (not pro)
We use some MSI Apache Pros with i7-7700HQ and GeForce 1060 3GB, they work great for most games. Star Trek was the only title that definitely had framerate drops even with basic settings. But simple titles like Fruit Ninja are solid.
We use a Lenovo y520 with Vive HDMs for portable (cart-based) rigs.
i7-7700HQ, 16GB RAM, NVIDIA GTX 1060 (6GB).
No real performance issues, but I do avoid the every-other-day "game-ready" GeForce driver updates.
VR seems to work great for me on a System76 Bonobo.

Using a 1050Ti in a laptop! Not suitable for arcade use but I use it for giving demo's when pitching to a client.
Easy to haul around and is much sleeker and professional looking than hauling a PC and monitor in and setting it up etc.
Picked it up brand new for about $500, paid for itself on it's first visit to a client :)
