Hi. When you say 4 trackers, you are referring to base stations, aren't you? You can use a maximum of 4 BS for the 2.0 base stations and the feedback from HTC Vive technical department in Taiwan I received was that it is more robust having 4 than 2. Having said that, for us, with more of an open plan venue, we found it significantly better have only 2 base stations rather than 4 in a dual play area (~7x3m area). This was likely because when we added the extra base-stations across the different areas, it created a lot of conflicts with extra base stations being picked up across play area (despite a substantial distance between some of these base stations), which would throw the tracking information completely out some times if one of the close by base stations was temporarily lost.
