We're actually considering downgrading from Wireless in our presently solitary Wireless Booth to a Wired experience.
Due to our setup and the fact that the sensor is a 'clamp-type' sensor where we're all thick-wall and can't use the ceiling tiles nor the frames for the ceiling tiles for our mounting, finding a place where the sensor can see the headset at all times has proven a task that's presently beyond us.
Furthermore, our rigs run on AMD chipsets -- and so we get random BSODs from the HTC Vive Wireless Module. Add on to that we want these things running constantly and don't want to have to deal with battery packs (though we're considering maybe building a custom wearable battery pack prototype through an electrical engineering firm) and it's just proven to be a bit more hassle than its worth.
I don't particularly like spending !$85! for each new cable that customers find a way to twist into infinity - but being able to ensure that all our booths are up and running at all times and run flawlessly is a must for us.
Our location would've been tough anyway as we've got 14 rigs in their own rooms (we built the floorplan for the arcade before the VivePro BE announced LH2.0 which supports 4 VRHMDs per area) and I'm not sure it'd survive the cramped quarters with all the reflection going on.
