I had some experienced ARVI regulars who have a lot of the records at my arcade for escape rooms do Eclipse.
These folks have beaten all ARVI escape rooms. Real pros! 🙂
The review was terrible, mostly having to do with setting the game up so players knew what to do- but also play and help mechanics. Overall expectations of the game maker seem to be too high. It needs to be made more user friendly.
Providing 35 minutes isn’t enough to complete the game.
They did say there was a lot to appreciate about the game, but there isn’t time to explore it. Fixes will be needed before we recommended it to anyone.
More specific notes from them: upside down pyramid “help” appears to late and disappears when you get something right, but without actually helping you. So if you were just guessing at a button, then you are still totally frustrated and don’t know what to do.
End game going into a pod and staring at an alien who has no interaction was not an impressive ending.
They glitched out of the map a lot apparently. Items glitched a lot and had to respawn.
