Springboard update on Covid? How are you doing?

I’d be interested in knowing how much of SpringboardVR’s base that have reopened, still waiting to open and closed permanently?

Further, for those arcades who have reopened, I’d be interested in knowing how you are doing? We just reopened full-time today and our reservations are down severely, to the point we are very concerned.

My arcade has been reopened for about a month now…definitely can tell that things are slower than before covid. A bittersweet observation is that I am in an area where people are split on the reality of covid so many people are wanting to go out and do “anything” which has been a plus for getting in new people. I am just hoping we don’t have to go backwards again and shut down for X amount of time.

One thing I am working on is a video informing patrons on our cleaning procedures. I also want to highlight the appropriateness of attending a VR arcade during these times due to the isolation at each station. That should be encouraging to people in my mind but who knows. Good luck all.

Yeah I hear what you are saying. We are looking into some different ways of marketing ourselves to show that we are open and the steps we have taken to help ensure the safety of our clientele. It is a matter of balancing the need to get the word out and making sure we don’t waste too much money on a message, when many are just waiting to see how things go before they attempt to go out and have fun again.

Slower, but party bookings picked up. We run at half capacity from what the city regulations allow, which is not a problem since we only have 7 stations. I’m about to update our P&L statements for the previous few months. I’ll give you all a percentage breakdown once I “cook the books” as they would say in Job sim :-)

Yesterday I had one booking. Today I’ve got 20

down 75% we are only allowed to have up to 10 people so one employee can work so that we can have more clients. We are a small town so 6 stations on a good day we can get 10 bookings but that’s rare now.
