Galactic Rangers and no audio

I’ve installed it on one of my stations and it’s got some cool gameplay, but it has no audio coming through? I’ve got customers on the station I was testing it on now so I can’t do any trouble shooting (unless a customer jumps into it). I’ll try it on other stations later today but it will be a while until I have no customers on the stations.

Is anyone else having this issue?

I finally got around to installing it onto some other stations and the audio worked fine on them. I think what happened on the first one is that when we clicked on the Window’s Firewall prompt we never clicked back on the game window and it’s one of those games that doesn’t have the audio come through when it’s not the active window.

HunterLaneSBVR Yup, I booted it back up on the original one and the audio was coming through just fine.

So it’s pretty dang cool but I can’t get the multi-player component to work. We did the Window’s Firewall prompt and gave it access, but when someone hosts and the next one joins, it just sits at searching for a minute or so and never finds a match. Anyone else having this problem? Is it working in multi-player just fine for anyone?

Also, if you can pass it along to the developer, having some audio settings would be nice.

Oh, and also that the full-screen thing never carries over from session to session. It will launch in windowed mode, despite the option for full-screen already being on. Turning it off will make the window slightly larger (yeah, that doesn’t make sense), and then turning it back on will finally get it into full-screen mode that actually takes up the whole screen. But then the next session it’s back to windowed mode.

Well crap. All this work testing this game and figuring it out and now I just saw it’s going to be $0.08. I was hoping to replace a bunch of the shooters I have like Shooty Fruity, Dick Wild 2, Mega Overload, and some others… but it’s more than them. In fact, it’s more than Pistol Whip, Raw Data, and Front Defense Heroes which are my biggest shooters. It’s only cheaper now than Arizona Sunshine and Space Pirate Trainer (which I can still replace that one with this game since they are so similar and SPT should not still be $0.10 since its name recognition is nowhere near what it used to be).

I guess I’ll keep those other games now as beginner shooters for kids and I won’t be pushing Galactic Rangers as much as I was planning on. Heck, even Pistol Whip is a better option for kids since it’s got the no fail mode.
