I just jumped in and tried it out and it was pretty cool. The only issue I have with it, and it’s a big one, the positions of the elevator and the player. Everything is well beyond the Chaperone grid. We found a way around it for the Rock Climbing and Bungee bits; we walked back to the edge of the station and when we did the screen would go black but if you keep going it will slide the game world as you move.

So, we could eventually slide back far enough that the bungee, while still beyond the Chaperone grid, was at least not inside my building’s physical walls and I could grab it. I never could do the hot air balloon part as it was still inside of my walls after sliding the world. If they can fix this then I’d offer this game like crazy to people.

Hey all, their team just emailed me and said they put through an update that has the following changes:

Repositioned the camera rig so it is in the center of the play space.
Added a hand pose to the climbing buzzer.

Let me know if this fixes/improves the positioning issues!

Same issue here, I don’t know what kind of play space these devs had but we have a 14′ X14′ playspace that would not allow us to enter the hot air balloon, and we had to leave our play area to do the bungee jump. Also noticed a fair bit of reprojection -the game launched with 1.2X supersampling that might have contributed, but we are running 1080ti’s and most games we can run at 2X SS with no latency so it seems maybe poorly optimized. Hopefully the devs can fix the playspace thing or this game is DOA

Thanks for the feedback, we’ll make sure to relay all feedback to the developers.

Arcades are a priority to them so they definitely want to know anything they can do to improve their experiences!

(This is why they made the bungee level optional, just in case operators found it too intense for their users)

As I said before, arcades are 100% a priority for them so they want any and all feedback to help make their game better!

(They are adding in a way for arcades to custom brand the blimp in it tomorrow and this was suggested today by an operator so don’t be shy with feedback and suggestions!)

I had been messaging Sam on FB, been trying to get the positioning of the game/elevator right. I’ll jump in again, he said they got it working for 6×6ft but I think it was still a little off. I’ve got a 30 minute break on a station, I’ll test it now.

Alrighty, so I tried it out again and it’s a lot better than before. I can walk into the elevator and do all three of the activities outside the elevator. My only adjustment (for context my spaces at my arcade’s stations are 10×10 but the grid is actually at the 9×9 mark) that I would suggest for this is to give about a one more foot shift in towards the elevator. My red grid was about one foot into the elevator, which gave it a fairly cramp feeling while in there. When I went out for the bungee there was about 1-2 feet distance from the end of the plank you walk on to reach the bungee harness. So if we can shift that excess space towards the inside of the elevator then that would be nice.

My other thing I’d like to see changed with the actual Bungee part, well there’s two. After you grab the bungee and step off the plank, the transition to falling could be a little more seamless or smooth. It’s a little sudden when you step off. It’s already a crazy thing, but that added jolt to the player’s view makes it extra likely that they will fall over. The second thing with the bungee part is on some of the drops, your view clips into part of the Statue of Liberty’s concrete (or whatever material it is) base.

Features:
Playspace customization – an option in the menu screen allowing you to configure and save their spawn location. Please note this can only be done from the ground floor (Home floor).

Bug fixes:
Sun flare no longer visible on screen fade, also no longer being blocked by some transparent object.

Menu cog has been made less transparent so easier to see

Greyed out bungee harness and plank release buttons if not on the bungee floor.

Changed “helping hand” to “don’t be a wuss” for more clarification (This open turns the walkway into a trap door and drops the player)

Updated how the configuration file is handled so when new entries are added to it, it will be updated without having to manually delete the file so it gets regenerated

Corrected some French translation errors
Added haptic feedback to all interactable objects
Changed the reset procedure after falling from the bungee floor without a harness to place you back on the home floor rather than the bungee floor, preventing the possibilty of falling repeatedly
Fixed problems introduced in the previous update with how the config file is handled, which could prevent changes from saving
