Vive 3 in 1 cables .. where are you getting yours?

We’ve been open 3 weeks now. 2 cables (OG HTC Vive) replaced already. I bought a 5 pack on ebay a few months back, got a good deal, but now I can’t seem to find any good deals.

I’m worried I might not be able to source them soon with the HTC Vive being discontinued. I’ve seen the Skywin one’s on Amazon - Link didn’t work - Have you all had good luck with these cables?

Any other place to get cables?

How often are you all going through cables, and how many stations do you have?

I’ve read all the posts on cable management and feel we have a decent solution, it’s just the twisting of the cables in games like Skyfront :-)

I bought two of the Skywin cables from Amazon, not cheap importing and shipping to NZ, and both gave me HDCP errors out of the box they were DOA. Won’t be buying those again

We don’t have problems with Skywin cables, purchasing them from Amazon in USA. Over a span of 2 years, I would say we had to replace 9 cables, original cables would last maybe 1 year, sometimes a bit more. If there will be no more supply, only viable option to switch to other headsets with time, it seems.

We’re in UK and aren’t able to get any HTC cables for a few months now. We’ve been buying the flat Skywin ones (much better for spinning).

With shipping and duties they are about £40-£45 versus the original HTC cost of £35. Plus these last MUCH longer!
